Fun times on a rainy day

The other day i was thinking about when i was pregnant and for some reason i was very upset that Lilly was going to soon be one year old already.  Keep in mind...i was still pregnant.   It made me cry i was so upset how fast time was going and she wasn't even born yet!  Well in just a few days she will be 11 months old- and before you know it a year!  Time sure does fly- so today we had fun playing with our food and clothes since it is rainy and dreary out side.  Here are a couple pictures :)

Lilly has been trying lots of new foods lately and this week we tried toast!  She loves it!  She is still getting the hang of chewing it up but she gets a couple bites down.

It's so rainy and grey outside today so we thought we'd get a few minutes use out of this adorable froggy rain slicker i couldn't resist buying!!  We took a quick 10 minute walk outside and came back in and played for a bit.

Lots more pictures to come and a new video of her walking/ running as well!!

january and february update.... she is getting so big!

Here are some picture updates from the last month!  Lilly has learned to walk and now tries to go fast!  This only works for a few steps.  But she can walk across the room if she goes at the right speed! :)  We are so proud of her.  Can't believe she'll be 1 in 6 weeks..

I got the idea to make her a special mobile above the changing table because she wont sit still!  She loves sparkly things so i got this silver christmas ornament hanger at penney's for free pretty much and just put hair barettes and some other things my mom made on it..  It certainly helps keep her still for a few extra seconds.

attempting 9 month old pictures

Today Lilly turned 9 months old!  I thought i would try to get some cute pictures (well they are all cute but i wanted to posed portrait style ones) and after about 20 or so pictures this is what i got....  she is a quick mover that is all i have to say!  If you put them all together you might get a full shot of her!

SOOOO big!!!

Lilly has been growing and learning so much- we can see it every day!!  When i get up out of bed in the morning she always looks bigger or has longer hair or more teeth... soon she will be a little girl and no longer a baby.  I don't know how i will be able to handle that but since i'm certain she will be as wonderful a girl as she is a baby- i am excited for it :)   Here are some new pictures and videos to catch you up on her leaps and bounds!

On our way to see santa we stopped to see Grandma Liz at work to show off this adorable outfit- Aunt Jenny sure does know how to pick'em! :)

Christmas morning- attempting to open presents :)

Lilly!!  I don't think that box was for you!!    Don't worry she just licked the bottle...no drinking and crawling around these parts.

This is what happens when daddy feeds Lilly :)    Then it was bath time.

How far she has come in the last nearly 9 months!!  Here is a picture of the best moment ever!! :)

it's about time!!

So we have been busy- and I obviously have been slacking on the blog updates!  Lilly is doing wonderfully and getting so big!  She's working on her 4th tooth (3 on botton, 1 on top) and has made it through her first ear infection....so sad!!!!  But she's ok now :)   Here are some pictures to get you caught up!!

First halloween went very well!  Lilly was a giraffe- she didn't know but she was destined to be a giraffe since last october when i got the costume for 4 bucks!  Good thing she liked it :)

Below:  Daddy's yellow "12-and-0 hawk" for the ducks :)  at the time it was just your average yellow mohawk- right now it is a 12-and-o hawk!

Lilly's favorite thing to do before she was able to crawl!  Push ups!

I got a couple old mannequin wigs from work when we were throwing them away-

She's already got the hair flip down!

Daddy and I took her to his work during the fall to get some fresh air and see the pretty leaves!  She loved it but did NOT want her coat on!

This leaf was her favorite- she giggled and giggled when we spun it around!

First time in the snow!!!  What fun!!

Thanks giving visit with grandma, grandpa, and great grandpa... all dressed up in her fancy dress!

Getting ready to go see Santa!!  Aunt Jenny sent this adorable tutu outfit- we LOVE it and so does Lilly!  Even Santa was impressed!!

She liked santa but wasn't too sure who he was...no smiles but no tears either! :)
