it's about time!!

So we have been busy- and I obviously have been slacking on the blog updates!  Lilly is doing wonderfully and getting so big!  She's working on her 4th tooth (3 on botton, 1 on top) and has made it through her first ear infection....so sad!!!!  But she's ok now :)   Here are some pictures to get you caught up!!

First halloween went very well!  Lilly was a giraffe- she didn't know but she was destined to be a giraffe since last october when i got the costume for 4 bucks!  Good thing she liked it :)

Below:  Daddy's yellow "12-and-0 hawk" for the ducks :)  at the time it was just your average yellow mohawk- right now it is a 12-and-o hawk!

Daddy and I took her to his work during the fall to get some fresh air and see the pretty leaves!  She loved it but did NOT want her coat on!

Getting ready to go see Santa!!  Aunt Jenny sent this adorable tutu outfit- we LOVE it and so does Lilly!  Even Santa was impressed!!

She liked santa but wasn't too sure who he was...no smiles but no tears either! :)

Back online and pictures to come!  I have some cute videos of Lilly and her cousin Mathilda, and some pictures to post, i just can't seem to figure out how to post the video!  I will figure it out soon though :)  In the mean time- Lilly is SO close to crawling, she loves to try to pull herself up and stand although she gets stuck about 3/4 of the way up :)  So cute...  And i have a great video of her doing push ups!  (her own version of push ups!)  She is a little over 18 pounds and 27 inches tall...and SO strong!  Man...have you ever tried to get a spoon out of a hungry baby's grip???  Now that's a workout!!

I can sit and i am adorable in purple!!

Eating food out of my new food thingie (can't remember it's real name) is so fun!  My favorite is strawberries but bananas are a close second.

Aunt Jeryl is in town right now inbetween moving from L.A. to New York!  We went on a girls breakfast outing at a restaurant called Studio One. 

I LOVE these shoes that aunt Louise got for Lilly, they are a perfect fit even though they are size 3 and lilly is 5 1/2 months old....yikes!  She is going to have my feet i'm afraid!

Aunt Louise and Uncle John brought down this Christening gown a couple weeks ago to  have lilly wear.  We got some great, cute, and some funny pictures!

Time to baby proof!!!

Uh oh!!  Time to baby proof the whole house!!!  Lilly is getting really good at this crawling stuff!  She hasn't learned to move yet, but i know it's coming....and soon.  She can push up onto her knees like a big girl now and wiggles back and forth like she's reving up her engines!  She can reach out for a toy and stay up on her knees now so she's definitely about to be on the move!!  No more stationary baby :)  This should be a good exercise program right?

the past couple of weeks

We had been looking all over for  a new born girl baseball style hat....the ONLY place that sells them is Fletchers!  Well....old navy had them but i didn't want one that said old navy on it.  My mom got this one for her- it's still a bit big but she liked wearing it!  Oh and she loves this silly cell phone toy :)

She has been sucking her thumb for a while now, but recently she does it all of the time.  She has gotten her first tooth and i think it helps soothe herself to sleep when her gums hurt.  Isn't it adorable though :)

On our trip to Eagle Crest last week with some of Jason's family we went on a hike at Tumalo falls.  It was very beautiful and a steep hill to climb with a baby strapped to you!  Lilly loved it though- she always loves being outside.

Cousin Luke enjoyed the hike too! 

So did cousins Tye and Teague!   I'm so sad i didn't get a picture of Noah hiking too...

We got some cute ones of the two babies, but we wish the newest cousin Mathilda could have joined in the fun!  She is just 4 weeks old and lives across the country!  Hope she knows we were thinking of her!!

N-NNOOO!! Not the camera!!!!  I'm pretty sure Lilly doesn't like cameras :)

Last weekend i put on my brave face and took Lilly swimming at the club!  I decided the only person whose oppinion i REALLY care about is Lilly's...and i didn't want her to miss out on swimming on a beautiful summer day just because i was scared to wear a swim suit!  So  we did it...and i survived :)  She LOVES the water!!  This is her relaxing after Grandma Liz got her all clean and dry afterwords.

Jenny got Lilly this pair of purple paisley baby legs and this picture turned out so hillarious... doesn't it look like she's just walkin around on her own??  (minus the fact that you can tell she's laying on a blanket!)

I can't believe it...in 2 weeks lilly will be 5 months old already!!  She's got a tooth, she can roll over both ways, she's 25 1/2 inches tall and 16 pounds!  What happened!!!  I fed her rice cereal yesterday for the first time and she seemed to enjoy it although she didn't quite understand how to swollow it.  She is so big already...  I love our baby Lilly!! :)

Picture time!!

On Lilly's 4 month birthday I dressed her up as a ballerina in her tutu that she wore in her 1 month pictures!  It BARELY snapped, and the tights crack me up :)   The bow is just plain cute...  So it had to be done!!

On Saturday we went to the pool and grandma gave Lilly a cup with a tiny bit of water in it and she absolutely loved it!  look at her holding her own cup!!

She has started grabbing her feet any time we lay her down... i try to put her in just a onesie most of the time so she can fold herself in half just like she wants!  I think i like to kiss her toes just as much at she likes to eat them!!

Aunt Louise and Uncle John sent this cute lady bug outfit that fits perfectly!!  And Lilly is such a lady so it is just right :)

I just love this picture... she had a few days where she got up in the middle of the night and wanted to eat and play.  This was at 5am and i was so tired i came up with "lets find all the animals" so we ended up like this!
