I've been Christened as a Mom :)

Well today Lilly had the BIGGEST poopy diaper i've seen so far (i'm sure Daddy has seen worse since Lilly tends to save them for him!).  So, i decided to give her a bath in the sink with this plastic bin from the hospital real quick instead of pulling out the baby tub and laying her on the bath holder thingie...   Well, i thought i would be pretty quick at it but apparently not fast enough!  Pretty soon i thought...how am i getting my arm and stomach wet?? what is gong on???  ohhhhhh... sweet cute little Lilly is peeing on me!!!  So, of course i was officially a mom already, but now Lilly has Christened me as her mom forever :)

But who could resist this cute little face... i don't care if she pees and poops on me a million times!
She got all clean and wrapped up.

And so i had to dress her up in all pink again because she is so sweet in pink!

And now she is peacefully sleeping and swinging away in her cozy swing...

three weeks already!!??

I can't believe it's been THREE weeks already!!  Lillian is getting bigger every day now that we've been seeing our lactation consultant and things are going better!  Here is our big girl playing with Daddy, she was interested in her pink giraffe as usual, she loves it and seems to want us to play it (twinkle twinkle little star) over and over and over!

Cutest yawn in the whole world :)  This is the super cute outfit my Dad got from the women he works with...  thank you!

This is Lilly loving her giraffe again!  I swear she reaches for it already... is that possible at 3 weeks? It must be, i have about 20 pictures of her reaching for it!

OOHHH.. her favorite face to make at me :)

Great grandpa Bryce came to visit when we had a family pizza night at our house!  He sure is good at keeping Lilly happy!  She is wearing a tu-tu my mom made out of a onesie and some sparkly tu-tu material!  So cute :)

I couldn't resist dressing her up as a bunny once i found this "snuggle bunny" shirt at Gymboree for 2 dollars!  The hat is slightly large.....  :)

2 weeks old

Lilly is two weeks old!  She loves to look at and listen to this block that my grandma made 30 years ago!  She has even started to roll onto her side :)

Daddy's shoulder is sooooooo comfy!!

And so is my snuggly car seat that i love to take naps in!  (She slept in this position for about an hour!)

Great grandma Ruth came to visit a few days ago and Lilly just loved to snuggle on her!

I almost forgot!!  These are my favorite little slippers in the whole world, on my favorite little girl in the whole world!  They will only fit for about 2 more seconds since Lilly has my very long skinny feet :)

Lillian is here!!

Lilly arrived by c-section after 12 hours of labor..

She is BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT!! :)

She LOVES her Daddy, who is in love with her too!

And Mommy can't get enough soft snuggles... it's the best feeling ever.  Almost not living through surgery makes the smallest moments the best.

After 7 long long days in the hospital, with many of the best most caring nurses around, we made it home with all 3 of our family members ( in pj's)  :)

And promptly had a wet diaper, peed on the changing table, all over her pretty clothes she came home in, so we put on her frilly hand made sweater and hat set from Aunt Jenny in Texas!  Thanks Jenny :)

Thank you to everyone who helped us prepare as much as we could for Lilly.  We wouldn't have known what to expect without your help!   Thank you to the 7 people who donated enough blood to save my life after i hemorraged from a cervical tear during birth.  Everyone needs to donate blood!!  I never have before, but when i am able to i will be a life long donor.   And Thank you to the nurses who stood up for me when i was unable to speak for myself, now our little family is happy at home :)

Jason is the best daddy and husband in the whole world... he loves Lilly and Me so much, and we love him like never before!!  MMUAH!!
